Thandeka Dweba

Thandi Dweba – an experienced Human Resources Practitioner is responsible for the company’s operations, staff supervision and finances. As a seasoned administrator Thandi monitors all projects and drives many of the company’s projects. She holds the following qualifications, Advanced Dip. PA, BAdmin, HonsBAdmin (UNISA) and MA (Human Resources and Labour Relations (NMMU) and currently busy with her Doctor of Commerce (DCom). Her experience spans over nearly three decades. Thandi cut her career teeth in the public service where she rose to a senior management position in human resources management overseeing the whole Eastern Cape Province. It is through her single-handed efforts that Spontaneous Management Consulting is where it is today. As a lone consultant, Thandi laid the foundation for what was to become Spontaneous Management Consulting of today. It was through her unselfishness character and her desire to focus on the company’s bread and butter issues that she gave way for Dr Zandi Dweba to captain the company, while she focused on the company’s operations.

Among her Career Highlights are:

  • Took part in the HR Workgroup that integrated the former Transkei, Ciskei and the

South African Department’s of Agriculture into one post-apartheid Eastern Cape Department of Agriculture;

  • Headed the Spontaneous Management Consulting Team that was assigned the task

of supporting the Eastern Cape Municipalities on human resources issues as part of Project Consolidate;

  1. Headed the Spontaneous Management Consulting Team that positioned the company through developing systems, processes, training modules and procedures which led to the company receiving its full accreditation with the Local Government SETA;
  • Took over from Dr Dweba the Department of Local Government and Traditional Affairs’ Project on the alignment of municipal organisational structures with their IDP, Legislation and Delegation of authority;
  • Thandi Dweba is currently the Provincial Chairperson of the Local Government SETA Service Provider’s Forum which seeks to articulate views and position the Eastern Cape Service Providers such that consistency of quality is enhanced and maintained which they provide to municipalities and the Department of Local government and Traditional Affairs.
