Foreword by the CEO

Spontaneous Management Consulting cc, an accredited Training and Development Service Provider with the LGSETA was founded in 2002 as a provider of Human Resources, Training and Development, Leadership and Administrative support for institutions both in the private and public sectors. Over the last seventeen (17) years that we have been in operation, we have built ourselves a track record of good business support where we have nurtured loyal clients with whom we have developed strong relationships. We have helped several organisations, both in the private and public sectors. We are currently focused on improving the position of these organisations, ultimately, helping them to attain success and satisfy their customers.

Our services are a series of human resources, leadership, administrative and training interventions that are structured to remedy ills that have be diagnosed through a carefully steered diagnostic process.

While our customers are mainly municipalities, our company is positioned and poised to grow our footprint to cut equally across both the private and the public sector. The unique characteristic of our market is that of placing good relations and dependability above price. This predisposition puts pressure on our company to place a high premium on customer care, after care and post-project support.

Our specific niche of organisations has come to realise that service delivery is what they have been establish to do and they treasure the comfort of knowing that they have a reliable and loyal strategic partner. Spontaneous Management Consulting is that partner. Our own experience has convinced us that our clients are ready to accept our offerings and value proposition. Our vision, mission and objectives are built around the needs of our clients and we strive to meet these needs and more.

Our company is managed by a very capable team in its Chief Executive Officer Dr Zandisile Dweba who holds three Doctorates, a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Social Sciences and a Doctor of Administration (DAdmin) in Public Administration and a Doctor of Theology (DTh) in Practical Theology. The company’s Operations Director Mrs Thandi Dweba – also a seasoned executive with more than 25 years experience in the Human Resources and Administration industry is also a seasoned HR Executive. Dr Zandisile Dweba has likewise more than twenty-five years experience in our industry and has held senior and executive positions both in the private and public sectors. His wealth of experience has proven to be an asset for our company especially in view of the fact that he doubles as a Lead Consultant who leads consulting teams. His hands-on approach just what our business needs as it boosts the confidence our clients have on our company. Our Operations Director (Thandeka Dweba) is a mature and highly skilled administrator and “driver” who gets things done. She has held senior management positions in the public sector. Having been the longest in our business, she commands a great understanding of our operations and our market. The two leaders complement each other and with their post-graduate qualifications in the field of our business, they bring the most needed combination of practical hands-on experience and in-depth know of the theory which underlies the operations of our business and our service offerings. Spontaneous Management Consulting is financially viable as is proven by our financial figures and the assts which the company just acquired.

Dr Zandisile Moses Dweba

Dr Zandi Dweba is a seasoned Human Resources and Leadership Practitioner who holds three Doctorates among the following qualifications, Dip. PA (UFH), BAdmin, HonsBAdmin (UNISA), MA (UPE), Dip. Strat. HRM (Oregon), PhD (Social Sciences), DAdmin. (Public Administration) and a Doctor of Theology (DTh) in Practical Theology. His experience spans over nearly three decades. Among the organisations that Dr Dweba served in senior and executive management capacities are Anglo American Corporation, Telkom SA, Coca-Cola, Mercedes Benz SA, the South African Police Service, East London Industrial Development and the University of Fort Hare. Dr Dweba serves on several Boards where among others he serves as chairperson of
Remuneration Committees. As part of his extramural activities he serves as an external (post-graduate) moderator for some Eastern Cape universities in Human Resources Management and Labour Relations.

Among his Career Highlights are:

  • (1994-1995) – Headed the HR Workgroup that integrated the former Transkei and Ciskei telecommunication services into Telkom South Africa
  • (2000) – Facilitated the integration of the non-statutory forces into the South African Police Services as the Provincial Head: Human Resources for the Eastern Cape Province
  • (2001-2002) – Facilitated the split of Ikhwezi TruckTech (Mercedes Benz SA Commercial Vehicle Assembly wing) from the mainstream Mercedes Benz SA plant – they currently operate as an independent BEE company, assembling commercial vehicles for Mercedes Benz SA
  • (2002-2006) – As the HR head, set up the human resources department of the East London Industrial Development Zone (ELIDZ)
  • (2006-2007) – Restructured and introduced a decentralized human resources model that saw a vast improvement in the quality of HR service and an improvement in HR turnaround for the University of Fort Hare;
  • (2008- to date) – since he took over the reigns as the CEO and Lead Consultant of Spontaneous Management Consulting the company’s customer base has grown, income has multiplied and the demand for the company’s service has grown resulting in the need to increase staff. Among the improvements is the accreditation of the company with the LGSETA and the development of this website whose contents he wrote up.
